I finally found mine through Express Scripts. I don’t know if you have to have Anthem Insurance to use Express Scripts? It was a huge hassle, but finally got it last week. It was going to be over $800 for 3 month supply, but I was able to get it down to $180 or $60 a month (60 pills) so really a month’s supply would last me 2 months since I take 2 pills every other day. My doctor had to write the script for Minocin DAW1 (dispense as written). Not sure what the #1 means. But once I got the script, I faxed it to Express Scripts and they were able to get the co pay down to $60 per month (Triax pelleted). I tried SEVERAL other pharmacies including Target and had zero luck.

Funny thing is, I got my minocin on a Monday and found out I was pregnant the next day! So, I got to take 1 pill. It will expire before I am able to take it again.

Lyme/RA; AP 4/2008 off and on to 3/2010; past use of quinolones may be the cause of my current problems, (including wheelchair use); all supplements (which can aggravate the condition) were discontinued on 10/14/2012. Am now treating for the homozygous MTHFR 1298 mutation. Off of all pain meds since Spring '14 (was on them for years--doctor is amazed--me too). Back on pain med 1/2017. Reinfected? Frozen shoulder?
