I just read a study that said an enxyme supplement, Wobenzyme-N, was shown to significantly reduce inflammation in RA patients.  It's an herbal readily available at health food stores.  I'm wondering if anyone tried it and if so, can it be taken with AP?  I am currently taking 100mg mino. M, W, and F, trying to build up, and going to see Dr. S. in Iowa in July for IV.  I have a great deal of inflammation, blood tests came back very high for CCP and CRP, and already have damage, so trying to find a way to hold off more damage without succumbing to Embrel or Methotrexate with my dr. here is pushing strongly.

    Hi,

I used Wobenzym (the red one) for about 6 months, 9-10 tabs daily. Initially, it seemed to help with Inflammation, but after 6 months no longer worked well for me.  You can use it with you ABX, however, it was suggested 2 hrs before or after your dose, and also, it should not be taken with a meal, unless you want to use it as a digestive enzyme.

Good Luck with your choice.  Donna RA
