Hi All,
Just checking in to see if anyone else is being treated with ultra sound guided cortisone shots for those sticky stubborn joints?
I had shots in both hands 5 months ago and got immediate relief. My doctor told me the synovitis was more damaging to the body that cortisone as its job is to get rid of the inflammation. Well it sure had helped me. Yesterday I got more cortisone to a tendinitis in the wrist and a trigger finger as well as treat the synovitis in the ankle.
I was told the side effects of placquenil are tenonitis and ruptured tendons. 😡 Anyone else have these problems from placquenil.
