I will be getting blood tested this week, hopefully my rheumy will have phone consulted with Dr Sonnitt prior, but no matter what I have a list of tests I have asked him to do.

If I test neg for myco…that just possible effects insurance right- has nothing to so with starting the protocol?

And someone suggested I start with 100 mh MWF rather than 200 mg MWF- to avoid a nasty herx- any thoughts?

    Thanks Devie

    Devie,

I went to Dr. S and had the IVs for a week and then he started me on 100mg Minocycline twice a day X 7 days.  It has been a month now and I have not had any herx reactions.  From what Dr. S told me it sounds like we all have mycoplasmas or some form of infectious agent in us and as long as he can prove that we have an infection that most insurance companies will cover the treatment.  I had no problems getting it covered.

Good Luck to you and let us know how you are doing!

    Lori
