    hey guys, does any one know anything about soy isoflavens and menopause.  also have thyroid problem, need to know if i can take a little bit or if it's totally off altogether.

    Hi Tish,

    I have thyroid issues and have read that soy is contraindicated.

    Hi Tish;
        The only soy that anyone should take is the fermented kind such as tofu.Plain old soy is not good at all despite all the hype coming from the marketers.For an easy explanation go to http://www.mercola.com  and use the search for “soy” I don't agree with a lot of what this doctor says but at least he gives a good explanation for this.

    I have an allergy to soy proteins and must avoid it.  It is astounding to realize how many products include soy.  We are consuming a ton of it every day and probably should never supplement even more.
