This week Rite Aid pharmacy is selling sambucol buy-one-get-one free, so I went down and stocked up.  I bought the liquid and they sold lozenges also.  They are chewable like a vit c tablet…and not too bad tasting.  The syrup is thicker but the flavor is fine, too.

Anyone wondering “what a sambucol is”….its a dietary supplement made from elderberry that is supposed to support the immune system and fight viruses.  My pediatrician told me about it when I took 2 of my sons in with the flu.  So far I have taken it for 2 days and I feel really good!

It took me about two months to feel the difference in my body.  I'm glad you got it… I'm jealous of the deal you got!!!!

    Bill,

Sorry I forgot to post them for you earlier when you asked.  I've been househunting all week and kind of scatter-brained!  I know there are lots more studies out there.  I don't have any saved in my favorites, so what I posted were the ones that pretty much popped up at first google.. They can be a start, though, if you're interested in Sambucol.
