Requiem for a Tooth

For all who have been following my toothsome tale, it ends thus:

This baby's coming out!

I meet with an oral surgeon tomorrow to determine when and how.

I'm actually excited–can't wait to get this done. It's achy and uncomfortable and the thought of walking around with an active infection for this long is concerning.

The downside is the cost. I used up all my dental insurance benefits getting the (failed) root canal retreatment.

The endo felt very bad about how this turned out. He almost looked like he wanted to cry. He's a young guy, and he said this was the first time he's had a failure like this. I assured him that it wasn't his fault.

Really sorry to hear about the tooth needing to come out, after all you went through with it. 🙁 Hopefully, it will resolve your concerns, though.
