So when I was in Iowa with Dr. S I asked him if mycoplasma could be responsible for miscarriages/infertility. He said he didn't know, but definitely if it involved the cervix.

I wanted to find out more so I googled mycoplasma and miscarriages and came across this doctor saying the following:

“Along with this shift in perspective will come the realization that
some diseases now thought to be genetic in origin are, in fact, carried
down through a generational line by pathogens that the fetus picks
up in the uterus. Strictly as a matter of conjecture, I think it?s possible
that the list might include such currently baffling illnesses as
Alzheimer?s disease, Parkinson?s disease, Lou Gehrig?s disease (amyotrophic
lateral sclerosis), autism, multiple sclerosis, and schizophrenia.
Anumber of congenital abnormalities may also be connected
to intrauterine infections, most notably heart defects, spina bifida,
omphalocele, and a number of chromosomal defects including
    Down?s syndrome.”

Here is a link to his book online:

And the abx he uses?….Doxy, Zithromax, Flagyl and IV Clindy…sound familiar?

I doubt he would be interested in actually being added to the list (as he deals more with infertility), but it is good to find more and more doctors who support and believe in AP!

This is really fascinating and it makes so much sense to me.  I am going to copy this for my older brothers, who have resigned themselves to the likelihood of getting Alzheimer's since our father and grandparents passed from that disease.  This field of research brings so much hope with it!

Thank you very much for sharing.

I have wondered in the past few days, since all three of my children were born with the exact same strange birthmark on their spines that looks a lot like morphea, if I may have passed the mycoplasma in my system to them while they were in utero.  Something to ponder.  Thankfully as of now, they are all healthy – and after watching me heal through the AP, which I firmly intend to do, they will know that there is a cure for anything that might evidence itself in their health down the road.

Isn't it ironic when things are scary (the thought of passing mycoplasma/chlamydia to our children), but comforting at the same time? It is so good to get validation that it is all connected and the best thing—IT'S TREATABLE!

I was scared to think I could have Lyme (I thought it was nearly impossible as I had never even seen a bullseye rash on my body, let alone a tick. Then I was sent a “sign” that ticks are here as a day after I got my positive result, I found one on my scalp. So make sure you get tested ASAP!

There is also a lot of other helpful information linking mycoplasma to autoimmune diseases:

It can all be so overwhelming, especially the different protocols. I myself struggled with-Am I doing the right one? But then I just remember that I have options!
