    Hi All,

    I just want to mention something I just read in our local Health Journal. It is discussing how our skin is a member of our immune system and protects us from unwanted microbes. It then says that when our immune function goes awry, inflammation is triggered, causing a thickening of the skin's outermost layer.  Sounds like what happens in Scleroderma. Just wanted to pass this interesting info along.
