    Wow, Jenn!!!

Thanks for pointing this out! My boys love castles so much, my husband painted the walls of their bedroom to look like an interior of a castle!!!

I can't wait to show them these real castles!
    Happy Mother's Day!

    Thanks, Michelle.

Happy mother's day to you too!

    I like this castle…

I like tons of them; I don't really have any favorites….  I found the site last year when I was homeschooling Hadrian's Wall with my group of kids.  We used the photos here.  They are amazing.

There's a group of photos for a town called Windermere… I want to move there.

Here is another cool site.  You can explore Rome.  We used this site when we studied the Roman Empire.  This link takes you to the arch of Septimius Severus.  It's not that it's the best link to the site, it's the one we ended with the day I put it into my favorites.  The kids liked it because of Severus Snape from Harry Potter.

ANYWAY, if you go to the Map, you can click on all the great sites in Rome and do the panaromic tour of the site.  It makes you feel like you're there!

    Great sites!

My daughter will be spending a semester of her college years at the university's campus in Rome.  I am so jealous!  We went to Italy years ago and I loved it!  It is one of my dreams to go back, and it is one of the reasons my daughter wanted to go to this school because of the opportunity to travel in Europe.  She was just a bit too young to remember it well.

I'll pass these on to her.  Like she isn't excited enough to go away to school this fall! 😛

They are great…and they take your mind of some of your troubles, too!

The aerial shots above the castle ruins in England are so soothing…

My sister is moving to Hawaii (yeah!  I can visit and stay with her!!), so I was looking up information on the island and what would be around there and I found this site.  I thought the full screen virtual tours were good.  I thought I would add them here since they're in the same theme as the one that I had when I began this link… internet escapes.  My favorite site of all time remains the link that I began with.  This virtual Hawaii site is nice, though.  I couldn't find a tour of the green sand beaches..only the black sand beaches.
