    Hello 🙂

I just received a new months supply of Minocycline and noticed that it is a
different brand from previous.  It is made my a company named Ranbaxy.
My previous were made by the company Watson. I get them from the
Walmart pharmacy.  I did a search on Ranbaxy and saw some posts on a
different site saying Ranbaxy was not an AP brand and should not be used
for AP.  Is this true?  Is there a manufacturer that is better that I should be
using?  I don't want it to screw up my AP!

Thanks for any insight you can give me.

Hi, Lori. Watson and Teva seem to be the two generics that get the best reviews from what I have read here on the RBFBB. Ranbaxy, from what I have read from others here, gets mixed reviews, and more than its share of negative comments. My son has been on both Teva and Watson and both of them have worked very well for him.

    Lori,

I would call my local pharmacy stores to check what brand they would carry and I would switch my prescription to the one I feel comfortable with. It is my opinion that Wal-mart goes for price, not for quality. JB
