    Does anyone have a good way to purchase IV Clyndamycin to administer at home?  Are there any medical supply companies that will let you buy it with a perscription?

    Hi Jack,

    In our experience, once the dr. prescribed clindy IV's our insurance required we go through a home infusion service.  They came to put the pic line in and then did not return until it was time to take it out.  It was relatively inexpensive, especially compared to doing it on an outpatient basis.  The infusion service supplied the clindy.  I would check with your insurance, or if you don't have insurance, try to find a local infusion service.  Good luck.

    Thanks Joe, that info was very helpful.  We have insurance, but had been going to the hospital as an outpatient.  We are hoping to increase the IV's from 5 days every three months to 5 days every month.  That will mean having them at the house will be much easier.

    I found a infusion company that can work with us.
