    when should I take probiotics in relation to minocycline? before or after?

    I take mine at least 2 hours afterward.

    My integrative/holistic MD has always told me (even before I came down with RA and taking antibiotics) to be sure to take probiotics on an empty stomach.  That is, 2 hours after a meal or 1 hour before.

    As I understand it the antibiotics will negate the effects of the probiotics if taken too close together — so best to take them at least 2 hrs apart ….

    Jan 2018: ABX Mon/Wed/Fri (started AP 2008)
    1/2 x 150mg Roxithromycin(Biasig), 1/2 x 150mg Clarithromycin (Klacid),
    1/2 x Fungillin, 1 x 250mg Cephalexin (Keflex)

    Probiotics should really be taken at least two hours after the first dose of minocycline –this will re –propagate the gut
