    Hi,

    Does anyone know if oral clindy is effective towards strep? Penicillins are not an option here.

    Hi Casey,

    My son was treated with various antibiotics for a recurring strep throat this past six months. The last one was clindamycin! The key word is LAST! I noticed some of his drippy nose alllergies cleared up with that clindamycin, too. Hope this trend continues!!! So, yes, clindy works on strep.
