I have my first appointment with a Nurse Practitioner that works in Rheumatology for a hospital. When I set up the appointment, I specifically asked if she would be willing to consider AP for treatment. She said she would be based on labs, etc. On that day, I will be getting blood work done prior to seeing her. Since I don’t know what the blood work will include, I will ask her when I see her. My question is: What labs should be done? Are there specific tests that I need? I’ve already had one round of labs done ordered by my GP that indicated a high RF factor and high Anti CCP. What is routine for RA blood work? Sorry, I’m a bit of a novice at all this. I just want to make sure I am getting every test I possibly need. Thanks!
