Hi, I have Raynauds along with Lupus. I saw the raynauds years before my diagnosis. Wish I had been more aware of what was about to happen. I tried several heart meds with no relief. I currently take an herb called L-Arginine 450 mg daily. It helps a bit. I wear gloves a lot and also have heated gloves. The problem comes in with the palms sweating and the fingers freezing. Really pay attention and be cautious as to not develop ulcers. Different things work for everyone so investigate and try them is all I can advise. The docs dont like you to experience long repeated episodes of the Raynauds (nor do I) as it can be dangerous with the loss of blood flow to your fingers and tissue damage. I live in PA and actually race sled dogs, I will admit I struggle and have a lot of pain due to the Raynauds but I also pay close attention to my fingers and how they feel. (I do have other issues but as far as the Raynauds. . .watch it closely. . )
