LLMD in VA or near VA

Hi everyone.  I have a question for the Lymmies out there.  Does anyone know a good LLMD is the Virginia area?  A friend of a friend of mine is seeing an infectious disease specialist for Lyme Disease, and is getting worse.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Maria,

I'll send you the complete VA LLMD listing in a PM. Susan/Lyme sees Dr Z, who is a rheumatologist who treats Lyme, and may be able to tell you more about this doc, though I believe she is a bit difficult to get in to see….and your friend may not have rheumatological symptoms, anyway. 😉

Some of the Lyme docs names on the list in VA are familiar to me, but your friend's best bet is to join a yahoogroup for Lyme support and ask the other patients in the group which of these docs that they see and would recommend. Every LLMD has their own MO, some more allopathic or naturopathic, so it's important to do the research in advance.
