    I just got my blood results and my ALT and ASt are EXTREMELY high. AST is 179 and 0-40 is normal and ALT is 272 and 0-40 is normal!!!
    Fibrinogen Activity is normal but Fibrinogen Antigen is low 123 where 180-350 is normal.:shock:

    Hi Froggy,

    So sorry to hear about your latest lab results. No doubt you will want to discuss these with your treating physician, as he/she may want to run futher liver function tests.

    Are you by any chance taking any form of aspirin or any blood-thinning agents?

    Froggy,I hope you get some Milk Thistle right away.It saved my bacon when I was near liver failure from methotrexate.

    No blood thinning drugs or asprin.  🙁

    Got some milk thistle last night and took my first then.  Also going to get some lemons for the loo drink.  My RF actually went down.  It's always something with these diseases!!

    Ditto what Lynne said about the Milk Thistle, it brought my liver function tests back to normal and got rid of the pain I was having over my liver.

    Look into NAC (n acetyl cysteine) too.
