Did you know that stomach irritation can feel like hunger? I just read that. I've noticed that I've been eating more since being on minocycline, and definitely need a mid-morning protein snack.

Sierra – my AP Doc instructed me to eat every 2-4 hours to prevent hypoglaecemia, a very common problem for people with Leaky Gut issues. And to ensure I eat protein for breakfast. Lynnie

I've been aware of hypoglycemia for a long time. I'm having foot surgery in August at 1:00 p.m. Yesterday I called the office to find out how close to the surgery I could eat something. I was told I'd be called a couple of days prior to the surgy to discuss things like that. “I need to know sooner than that!” I said. She told me the last meal I could have would be at 4:00 a.m. I'm  setting the clock…

The fact that I can now take Zyflamend is a good sign–it used to irritate my stomach terribly. I may have still been drinking coffee then. I've since switchd to tea, which still delivers caffeine, but agrees with my stomach.
