Hi Maz, I know you have patiently explained your experience with treating Lyme many times, but I'll confess I was only half-listening.

I had the impression from another source that low dose pulsing tetracyclines will take care of Lyme, just like mycoplasma and chlamydia.

Can you clarify for me what is generally needed to clear a Lyme stealth infection, and link me to a couple of your favorite sites?

I promise to listen this time.

Hi Michelle,

Here is Dr B's Lyme Treatment Guide. Dr B is considered to be one of the foremost LLMDs in the US, but has now left practice to focus his efforts on education:

http://www.lymeiniowa.org/Physician's%20Info.htm

In a nutshell, the Treatment Information on page 13 basically says it all.

***Michelle, something very strange happened to my post to you and when I sent it, a lot of the information I'd typed or included as quotes got lost. It might be that the treatment guide is protected in some way. Sorry about that.

To find a Lyme Literate physician (LLMD), go to this link and scroll to the bottom where there is an email address to make your request:

Probably the most comprehensive, up to date resource for Lyme is the new book, by Pam Weintraub:

http://cureunknown.com/index.html

And to actually see the effects of Lyme and what is going on with this very hotly contentious disease, there is a new movie out, called “Under Our Skin” and very worth the purchase, if you can't find a local screening near you:

http://www.underourskin.com/

Other Lyme sites include:

http://www.ilads.org/

http://lymediseaseassociation.org/

http://www.canlyme.com/

There are many more sites, but these more “official” ones should be plenty to help you get started in your researches!

Peace, Maz

Michelle…tried again with the Dr B Treatment plan link…the system doesn't like it for some reason, but it does work if you cut and paste from the http….to the htm bit at the end. If you have any trouble, I'll see if I can find a different way to get to it.

Got it Maz. The treatment plan loaded for me as a PDF, and if I had any ink in the printer, I'd print it out!

Thanks again,

Michelle

Hey Maz or Michelle,
Could either of you pm me over the pdf file on treatment for my doctor. You know Maz how totally clueless I am on the cut & paste procedure. Thanks much friends!

Happy days!
Patti
