Greeno, thanks for your progress update. All very interesting. One thing I'd like to add from a personal perspective – others may have views on this.

Interestingly the Minocin definitely hasn't had the strength to get into my Gut and fix the bloating etc.[/color”>

Bloating is a classic leaky gut symptom. I am doubtful that the mino – or any combination of abx – will do the work of healing your gut. I believe that is something that will probably need to be addressed separately – most likely from a modified diet for a good long while. My AP doc  has me on a regime to heal my gut – that is complementary to but separate from  the abx treatment. Hope things continue to improve for you. Lynnie[/color]

Hi Lynnie, I'm hoping the MMS is going to resolve the Gut issues.

I've done the diet thing for a long time now, and on several occasions I've stuck to it completely for up to 3 months. On these occasions I've noticed great improvements in my condition, and have managed to ease of the intolerance. However on every occasion, when I slip of the diet for a while, the old issues would come back.

I've read of many people curing their illnesses with diet, and yes it does play a major role in chronic illness, but I find my intolerance are too many to be able to restrict my diet for the time required. I think it would take me no less than a year, and even up to 2 years, to totally heal my leaky gut by diet alone. This represents the stamina of someone climbing the 7 peaks, or running marathons.

So back to MMS; what gets me excited about this stuff is from what I read of other peoples results of taking it. One particular post (I can't find the link at the mo..dam) talked about someone's wife taking MMS which, after several months, helped to resolve her Gut problems. More importantly, removed her food intolerance. I've seen a lot on the web of Alkaline substances whether it be Bicarbonate Soda (being used to cure cancer by an Italian physician who blames it all on Candida), or Sodium Chlorite having beneficial effects. I believe my Gut problems are enhanced by Candida or L. Fermentans (who knows but I'd imagine they would have the same effect). I've taken Caprylic acid to fix this before, which works, but makes me grumpy. Interestingly the Italian doctor, mentioned above, believes if you induce an alkaline environment in your system, this will get Candida under control. Also interesting is, when I pop my Minocin pill, at night time I can wake with a salty (like) sensation in my mouth, which suggests alkalinity, as this is the same sensation I got when I've ingested bicarbonate soda.

Candida can induce Acidosis, so to me, it makes sense to try and counter act this effect.
