I have a question: Did anyone stop taking Arava when you started Minocin? I have read that Minocin is also classified as an DMARD. I am meeting with my Rheumy on July 2nd and plan to go over AP with him. We do not have one Rheumy in the Maryland that practices AP for RA. My doctor is willing to prescribe what I want. I have become my own doctor from finding the Road Back and my “doctor” will come along for the ride. Many Thanks, Rain

You may also want to take advantage of the opportunity to consult with (or have your doctor consult with) one of the leading/most experienced AP doctors.
Also, I know of one long term APer, a patient of Dr. T in Boston, who takes both the Minocin and Arava.
