Saw my rhuemy today and asked about ATP production and the great article posted last week about SD and fatigue. She had nothing to add about ATP however suggested creatine monophosphate supplementation could overload kidneys ( I have no problems with kidney function by the way). She recommended q10 though.

Anyone using either or both? What are your thoughts?

Brendan:  I'm not familiar w/creatine monophosphate supplementation.  Do you mean CoQ10 (Coenzyme Q10)?  If so here's a website that gives you some basic info.:  http://www.downtoearth.org/healthtip/coq10_benefits.htm

I currently take CoQ10 (100 mg.'s, as recommended by my AP doc) as I was using a statin drug for elevated cholesterol and statin's cause joint pain.  Most recommended dose that I see is 50 mg.'s, however, if you take statin drugs it is usually advised to take 100 mg.'s/day.
