On the rheumaticsupport.net website chat, Dr. S in TN mentioned that c. pneumonae(has been found in Atherosclerotic Tissues of heart patients.  That is why he said he didn't mind people taking mino once their RA resolved because he felt that it was cardio protective.  I've been wanting to confirm what he said…and found some interesting articles.

There are a ton of articles if you just google but some that I found interesting…

There are of course articles stating that antibiotics don't treat heart disease once the disease process has commenced…just google it and you'll find it.

But I thought that this was too interesting.

    WH,

Thanks for doing this reseach for all of us. BUT, yikes! I just had my first appointment and learned that I test positive for at least three things that icrease the risk off heart disease. CPn and MycoCPn are now added to that list. Dr. F said I had “high titers” of Myco CPn.
