Krys-
I have also found yoga very helpful for general well-being and sleep. There are many videos on You Tube. One I particularly like is by yogainlive. Jeff, one of these might be helpful to you.

I’d take any pill right now if someone said I was going to feel better.
JeffIt should start working any time now. Or will soon. Hang in there….
If you are willing to try some mudras, acupressure points, massage (self massage, too) for depression, I’m posting the links I liked:

You can view the image of the finger position when you go to Amazon.com, search for “Mudras. Yoga in Your Hands” by Gertrud Hirshi, click on “Look Inside (the book)”, and type in the window “search inside the book” : mudras for depression. The 3rd result is Tse Mudra, click on it and you will see the image.

There are many more. I did not manage to find the points to massage on face, ears that I know (knew, don’t remember any more) from books I have somewhere.Stephen Harrod Buhner in “Healing Lyme” recommends as best working for depression:
1. regular, weekly Swedish massage. “It is one of the hardest things to convince people to do (too self-indulgent, they think) but the one that has the best outcome.”
2.”After massage, the best thing for depression is eleutherococcus tincture.“
I only found links where he lists Siberian Ginseng (Eleutheroccocus, he thinks in tincture form it works best) as very important in Lyme protocol: http://planetthrive.com/2009/12/what-is-the-most-minimal-lyme-treatment/@Jan Lucinda1 wrote:

Jan, this is a brilliant find!!! Yoga was and still is used in India as per prescription, i.e. certain poses are prescribed for certain ailments and they do work, though at present many Indian people believe only in Western medicine. I read how American yoga teachers used what they knew (i.e. yoga) on their newborns with fatal diseases and cured them! Chi Gong should help, too! I just don’t know how to find anything from within it.
May any of the above, and anything else that may still be posted, be of help!
