    Hi Gang,

    Jennifer and I are contemplating adding aithromycin to Jen's AP protocol.  I have a few questions:

    1.  Is generic verses brand is an issue. 

    2.  Can they be taken together (at the exact same time)?

    3.  Can they be taken on the same day?

    Hi Jack,

    Hope you and Jennifer are doing well. My AP doctor recently added azithromycin to my protocol. I take it every 7 to 10 days. I don't know if generic verses brand is an issue. It can be taken on the same day. I take mine at the exact same time that I take my morning minocin dose.

    Both Jess and I have been RXd zith, from an AP dooc who insists on brrand mino, buut did not specify brand foor the zith.

    My RX is for m-w-f on zith, daily on doxy. Jess' RX is for daily mino and m-w-f zith.

    We take our zith with the other abx on the m-w-f. I have never heard that they couldn't be taken at the same time, best to ask the pharmacist.
