AF, I take large amounts of mag citrate and malate per day…to bowel tolerances.  I have read that often mag is even more important than calcium.  I only take 500 mg of calcium.  And many many are magnesium deficient.

I don't eat enough fresh veggies, etc. to get adequate cal.  And not much dairy.  Goat Milk yogurt but not tons per day.  Trying to stay away from dairy and cheese.  I eat some cottage cheese on occasion but not lots there either.

And on the Vit D millions are coming up deficient every minute.  So for me I'm filling up my “D3” tank that was almost depleted in late 2006.

This is what is working for me, I believe.
