    Hi Sue;
    We have just been told the same thing here in Canada and the warning is out that ticks become active at 4degreesC or about 35F.Vets are seeing it already as the migrating geese are here a whole month ahead of time and the weather has been hovering between freezing at night and mildly warm in the day.Migrating birds are the biggest carriers.The veterinary university in Guelph Ontario estimates that around one 1.75 million ticks come up from the U.S via birds.O la la,quel horreur!
