In my quick google search, I didn't come across this, but it also feeds yeast something one must be incredibly careful with when on antibiotics.  His apparent need for a lot of sugar makes me suspicious that he already has a candida problem.

He is now on AP and on the road to wellness; but if he ignores good nutrition, he will definitely thwart his body's ability to get well.

Lyme/RA; AP 4/2008 off and on to 3/2010; past use of quinolones may be the cause of my current problems, (including wheelchair use); all supplements (which can aggravate the condition) were discontinued on 10/14/2012. Am now treating for the homozygous MTHFR 1298 mutation. Off of all pain meds since Spring '14 (was on them for years--doctor is amazed--me too). Back on pain med 1/2017. Reinfected? Frozen shoulder?

I will google the info, thank you. I will have a talk with him again and include the info you both gave me.

He has always had a sugar thing going but I didn't mind so much when he ate large healthy meals and was seemingly healthy in himself at the time.

Now it is a different story. If I let him know it will hinder results from the Doxy maybe he will think again.
