    Hi Richie:

    I have internal hemorrhoids and just want to know if the Infra Red coagulation procedure for hemorrhoids is a good one to go for.
    Any thing you know about the procedure? Any good colon and rectal surgeons you know off.
    I posted this a week back and I did not get any answers.

    Hi Sorry to hear about your problem –I did have external about thirty years ago –used hot baths and cortisone cream -that took care of problem –I wouldnt run to see a surgeon just yet –if it was me I would look into tieing them off with rubberbands –many of my friends had good luck with this –if it was me I would look up North Shore LIJ proctology dept and go to someone connected with them –Good luck –if you want to email me —rstone@optonline.net

    Hi Richie thank your inputs and valuable information.
    My GI doc is going to send me to a proctologist and have to find out what he is going to say.
    I will look into North shore LIJ doctors .
