A Lyme Disease Scientific Symposium recently took place in Canada featuring leading researchers from the US and elsewhere. Information about the speakers and their research can be found via the link below. One of the speakers was M. Karen Newell Rogers, Ph.D., who is involved in Targeted Peptides Therapy (TPT) research at Viral Genetics.

    Hi Barb,
    Thanks for posting this.
    Trudi

Lyme/RA; AP 4/2008 off and on to 3/2010; past use of quinolones may be the cause of my current problems, (including wheelchair use); all supplements (which can aggravate the condition) were discontinued on 10/14/2012. Am now treating for the homozygous MTHFR 1298 mutation. Off of all pain meds since Spring '14 (was on them for years--doctor is amazed--me too). Back on pain med 1/2017. Reinfected? Frozen shoulder?

All this information on lyme is interesting. Hopefully it will push authorities to start acknowledging it. It’s already in main stream journalism. It’s good something’s being done with these peptide abx that are being talked about too, though I admit I am ignorant about them, so I will do more research after work today.

Thank you Trudi, BG, Maz, and anyone else I missed that are helping spread these news articles.

    Hi Kathy,

Teva is the name of the generic brand I use. I find it works a bit better than the other generic brand I was given which is Apo. When I talk to my rheumatologist next I see him, im hoping to go brand name but finding brand name anything in Canada is getting harder since the government is forcing the generic brand since it saves costs..according to my pharmacy here (shoppers drug mart)
