    I am in my 4th week of APx and last night I was awaken with a kind of cramp like feeling in the calf of my leg. This morning in my water aerobics class the tendon on top of my foot tightened up and my leg got real stiff several times. Has anyone had these types of problems and could this be a herx? I am still trying to figure this all out and any help would be great. Maybe I’m blowing this out of proportion and just need more magnesium?

    Hi–you just might need more magnesium OR –try this –eat a banana a day for a week -see if it helps –thats for potassium –

    Hi clong1057,

    Richie gives good advice about the magnesium and potassium. I’ve had cramping problems mostly in my feet since I was a child. I don’t get them as often or as severely now that I supplement with Magnesium. I noticed that if I drink water they go away so I did a search and found that dehydration can be a cause too. Making sure that my feet and legs are warm enough at night also helps me.
