    Hello,

    I recently saw Dr. E and my lab results just came back. It seems now I have also developed hypothyroidism (TSH – 8, don’t remember the T3 and T4 levels), low vitamin D levels and low DHEA. For this, I was just prescribed the thyroid hormone (derived from pig) 30 – 60 mg, and DHEA and vitamin D (10K IU) supplements. The nurse I spoke with said that these issues are very common.

    I was just hoping to find out if anyone has any thoughts they can share on the hormone and supplements I am being recommended.
