I just got approved for the IVIG !

Hi Tonya! Yes I went back to my Rheume because the I did not get much relief from the IV Doxy this time.  He immoderately wanted me to go back on chemo and I said no. I had done some research about IV Gammaglobulin so I asked him about it and he said he thought it would help me.  Then he saw all the ulcerations and he really got to work with the insurance company. I got approved on Friday and start the treatments on Tuesday of this week down at Mercy.  I guess they are 5 hours long each day. Something has got to help!  The shortness of breath started about 2 weeks ago. The Rheume thinks it is the beginning of pulmonary fibrosis-but the IVIG should help this.

We still need to do lunch someday!

Is anyone getting IVIG and Cellcept for scleroderma? The posts I've been reading are for IVIG for a rheumy problem vs scleroderma.  I'm trying to get IVIG approved for my husband but wanted to check if anyone is getting it for scleroderma.
