I have been on 100 mg minocycline 2 X per day for 2 months and broke out in hives. Dr. S. said it was bacterial die off and to cut back on the minocycline 1 pill on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and when the hives are gone go to 2 100mg tabs on Monday, Wed and Fri. and keep up that routine.
My question is has anyone else gotten hives as part of the herxing process or the bacterial die off after being on minocycline? And, how did it all work out for you?

What kind of minocycline are you taking? Some generic minocycline contains a red dye that some people are allergic to.
