Just one idea, I am sure some have more suggestions.

Some of us have enormous problems with inflammation in the gut because of the drugs.

Mine was so inflammed with the Doxy I wondered if it would recover. Doc prescribed a drug
to take with it which really was just magnesium to push it through. It is used in the Marshall triple
treatment for ulcers. Instead of having to get another
script I just used my powdered form that I use as supp. Just a small amount and it works fine.
Was under the impression we were to keep drugs & supps separate but that was the advice given and it works.
That way I also don’t have to take them with milk, which was the only way I could get them into me.
Now I can take both doxy & mino with a small amount of Magnesium and just a cracker or a strawberry
which has solved the problem altogether. Just thought this might help others with the same problem.

The other thing was the H202. I was to let you know the results. They are super on H202. I cant say
I like taking it orally or the herx but it sure made a difference to the stomoch as well and the way I feel.
    Energy level.
I am soooooo glad I found out about it from the rheumatic site. Only take one dose a day now knowing I can
put it up to twice or three times/day, if I need to. Sure helps if you are struggling, with detox, pain, fungus.

    Hi Rosemary,

Are you sure that magnesium is a part of the Barry Marshall treatment protocol for helicobacter pylori? I can’t seem to find this on his site and Marshall indicates that proton pump inhibitors and Bismuth subsalicylate (in the US it is called Pepto-Bismol) is what he recommends for stomach acid reduction while on his triple therapy. 😕 Am I missing something?

Your original impression was right. Unfortunately, when using minerals alongside a tetra, such as magnesium, iron, etc, the effects of the tetra will be reduced as the abx binds to the minerals in the gut and is just expelled in the usual way.

I use Super Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics by Now Foods, love these products….

My greatest helper is DGL (stomach lining tamer)…..I wouldn’t be without it.

I’m going back to give doxy a try 100mg MWF and hopefully I won’t have issues…..

What is the exact name of the drug?

Guys they really push the generics here, that is what makes it so confusing and believe me they try pretty hard.

The one I have in the HP7 Kit is called Nexium – (esomeprazole magnesium trihydreate 22.3mg equiv. to 20mg esomaprazole. & when I asked the G.P for something to do the same job, he gave me the Acimax – (omeprazole magnesium) which is 20 mg
I’m not a pharmacist but they both say magnesium. I only use the tiniest bit of powder on a very small spoon.enough to push it through the gut but not cause any other problem or loosness. Will speak to the doc when I go again soon. sure is better than using the milk.

I had the most dreadful time with ulcerated gut, I never want to have that happen again. The specialist said I will probably always have to take something with both doxy and mino after that. It is just not worth the risk.

I am receptive to anything that will do the job.
Not sure what your Hp treatment has in it over there. Thanks for your concern

That is what they use here and I am sure it is Barry’s treatment. Anyway I have always had to use something
What they use would be very small dose as you are advised take all the tabs at once, each dose that is, so would have to have something effective or you would be in big trouble. I guess that is why I just had to take more of the
drugs to make up for it. Which ever way, you have to get it into you the best way you can.
It would take a lot of magnesium to move me. Have found both the mino and doxy very good anti- inflammitory’s so they must be working.
I do takes loads of probiotics daily, and use a digestive aid when I remember.
Forgot to take anything last night and within minutes I was in trouble again until I fixed it. I think that the stabilized oxygen althoughit is magic and helped heal my stomach originally, also can be an antagonist, however the benefits far outway any problems. I seemto be continually trying to overcome a problem of some sort. Guess have just become used to it.
Thanks for your help everyone will ask about it when I go next. That is all I can do.

Some one on another board mentioned Charcoal tablets…so that is always one to think of….can’t forget the digestive enzymes daily, 3 times per day for me. jam

Thank you so much Jam I find it difficult to remember the 15 before I eat. Supposed to take them with the H202 if on lengthy treatment also. I will try harder.
Will look into the charcoal tablets Jam The doxy and mino still works so i guess it disolves and is absorbed way before
the magnesium minute dose has any effect other than to push along the tract a little. Guess they know what they are doing. Thank you so much for answering.
