    There is an interesting article on health.harvard.edu titled “Chronic Lyme arthritis: mystery resolved?” It says that 60% of those infected with Lyme disease have arthritis. Also they explain why 10% of those treated with antibiotics are not cured.

    RA tried everything: Methotraxate, Arava, Humira. Pneumonia three times. Anemia. Very low iron. Hypothyroidism
    AP from April 2014 till August 2015. No luck.
    Current medications: Natural thyroid, Mobic, supplements,
    vitamins and minerals.

    I have not read it but I hope it mentions the DR4 haplotype. People with this HLA type do not need Lyme. They are the ones genetically susceptible to RA and are among the ones who get chronic Lyme. They are the ones who some doctors say do not exist.

    Flare fall of 2014...muscle aches, joint pains, fatigue, hair loss, rashes, etc.
    RA Factor 71 in Jan 2015 down to 25 as of September 2017
    DR4/DQ8 HLA...biotoxin illness
    IGG food allergy to wheat, egg, and dairy...probably all grains
