    Has anyone used any other pharmacies in Canada besides Buy Low Drugs??? Buy Low only has generic minocycline now, whereas some of the others say that they have Minocin. I was looking into ordering it from NorthWest Pharmacy….

    Hi Jeni,

    It’s possible that the info on their web sites is outdated. Also, I’ve read that some pharmacies claim to have Minocin but are actually substituting Aknemin (pelleted minocycline from Germany) for it. If that’s true it seems like false advertising to me.

    Yes, I wondered if they weren’t stating what they had accurately!!!! NorthWest apparently has minocycline from Watson and Ranbaxy, and when I pressed them on the issue they said it was generic.

    I am very confused right now, and I’m not exactly sure what to do…..

    My first inclination is to just try the generic from Buy Low Drugs which is manufactured by Apotex, which I’ve never heard of.

    At least Buy Low has always been honest and open with me.
