Does anyone here get botox for cosmetic purposes, and have you notice an RA flare aftward? Does anyone here believe their RA was caused by botox?

I know this goes against the grain as some folks are actually getting botox to relieve themselves of pain.

    Thoughts?

botox is considered one of the most toxic chemicals known to man. human toxicity is quite relevant to RA, thus i would suppose that yes it could be considered an environmental toxin associated with RA considering the diseases many triggers. however it must be noted that toxic environments compromise the immune system which can lead to the proliferation and subsequent invasion of bacterial entities, such as mycoplasma which is deemed to be the root cause of rheumatic diseases according to dr thomas brown. so yes to answer your question it more than likely could be linked.
