Benicar

[2011Rio]

Has anyone heard of using Benicar, this is the brand name there are generics also, as part of the ab treatment and for helping with herxing? I just came across a website when I googled herxing and it talked about using this drug, which is a blood pressure medication. Sounded like it could be of great help.

Diagnosed w/Lyme, Ehrlichia, babesia, bartonella, ebv Feb 2016
metronidazole 500mg 1tab,3x a day M-F:
doxicycline 100mg 1tab 2x a day; Alliultra 360mg 2x a day;
Larrea; burbur; GSF 400mg 1tab 2x a day ; multi vit; b12 lozenge;
vit c 2000mg daily; Actemra 10/2015-present (may come off since
lyme diagnoses) Plaquenil 200mg 2x a day; Prednisone 4.5mg
(weaning off); Baclofen 10mg bedtime; Bentyl 10mg as needed;
fexodinadine 180mg daily; armour thyroid 45mg daily; omeprazole 40mg d

Personally i tried the Marshall Protocol and got worse during that time – of course different diseases will vary in response and of course what one’s Vit D level is – if they are on the lower end in blood work for Vit D or on the upper end matters too.

One patient a doc had the doctor relayed that she got better on the Marshall Protocol for her SD after she tried all sorts of other things including AP and found this as her solution – of course SD can remit for a bit in some cases anyways so it is hard to know he mentioned it to me to consider but I had already did a 3 month trial and stayed on the Minocycline during that time but for me this is when my SD really advanced in skin lesions all over coincidentally or not.

Hey, thanks so much for the input, Richie and Jill. I’m most interested in the Benicar, wonder if it could be implented into the Dr. Brown Protocol. Would like to hear any other input, if anyone has more.
