    Does any one take ace inhibitors ( to lower blood pressure and protect kidneys) and minocycline together for scleroderma Just been through renal crisis ( no kidney dmage fortuntely) and put on pressure tablets, but think I need to get back on the minocycline after a 18 month break.

    ACE inhibitors are commonly recommended for folks with scleroderma –I take it right along with minocycline –no problem —

    Hi I take that back –I was recently switched to Cozaar or losartan which is an ARB –its a later class of drug than ACE inhibitors with almost the same action –Current research shows thats its more kidney friendly than an ACE inhibitor –
