I will appreciate if someone could answer my question – what is the difference between CCP
and CRP. I’ve noticed that CCP is being tested in America and here in Australia they always mąkę CRP.
All my doctors (rheumatologists and GPs) always have tested my CRP but NEVER CCP.

RA tried everything: Methotraxate, Arava, Humira. Pneumonia three times. Anemia. Very low iron. Hypothyroidism
AP from April 2014 till August 2015. No luck.
Current medications: Natural thyroid, Mobic, supplements,
    vitamins and minerals.

CCP is another marker that is found in people primarily with RA. They usually check RA Factor and CCP. CCP points to RA more so than the RA factor. CRP is a marker for general inflammation and can be used for everyone. It can go up and down depending on what your body is fighting and going through at the time of testing. Any stress can raise it. However, with autoimmune doctors test it to see how much inflammation is in the body at that time. But, at my very worst my CRP and SED rate were normal. It is not a good indicator for everyone. If it happens to be your marker though to watch it can be an invaluable tool to chart your progress on AP or biologics.

Flare fall of 2014...muscle aches, joint pains, fatigue, hair loss, rashes, etc.
RA Factor 71 in Jan 2015 down to 25 as of September 2017
    DR4/DQ8 HLA...biotoxin illness
IGG food allergy to wheat, egg, and dairy...probably all grains
Vit. C&D, probiotics, milk thistle, turmeric, fish oil, methyl b 12, methyl folate, digestive enzymes, Candisol, Ubiquinol, berberine, chlorella, Moducare, LDN, monolaurin, Triphala, Patriot Greens, Paractin
    MTHFR compound heterozygous
