     Hi All,

Thought other Lymies may be interested to hear this news, hot off the press and published today, July 2nd, 2008, on MSN News. Until now, the spirochete has only been visualised using dark field microscopy in vitro (in the test-tube). Perhaps this latest advance in research, visualising the spirochete in vivo (in living host tissues) will provide exciting insights on how it manages to morph and evade the immune system? I also have to wonder if this methodology would work for the likes of mycoplasma….

    Peace, Marion

Pretty cool Maz. I googled the referenced paper and found it here along with the videos. My Internet explorer wouldn't play the Shockwave videos so I had to use Firefox.

Thanks for adding the study link, John. Someone had just posted the same thing as a follow up from the newslink from Pub Med Central on my Lyme group and I was just about to add it here…and you beat me to it, having already read my mind. 😀  Cheers! It is pretty cool …. almost sci-fi stuff!
