What is the difference between CRP and ESR? I understand that both are inflammation markers. In my case ESR has gone up and CRP has gone down.

RA tried everything: Methotraxate, Arava, Humira. Pneumonia three times. Anemia. Very low iron. Hypothyroidism
AP from April 2014 till August 2015. No luck.
Current medications: Oroxine, Mobic, LDN, supplements incl. milk thistle, NAC, vitamins and minerals.
    MTHFR heterozygous

If you look at Appendix B in Pulse Protocol, it gives a pretty good description of markers including ESR. See appendix B here. This article is also pretty good at describing them and their differences. See here
