ParticipantMichelle, my prayers are with you. I could always tell, just by looking at your picture, the two of you had a special bond.
Be good to yourself as you grieve. I can tell you from firsthand experience, memories and leaning on God will get you through.
Big hugs

ParticipantI have been on Cymbalta and it has helped. The challenge with antidepressants is they don’t always work right away and there is not one that works for everyone….so you have to try, wait and if it doesn’t work, try another.
Maybe you will be lucky and the first one will work!!
Hang in there…..

ParticipantI posted a comment on another site and OUCH! Did I get bit! I can’t even remember what it was, but I got hit with both barrels. I couldn’t wait for the post to fall off the first page.
I couldn’t understand why, when we are all hurting, there had to be such a negative response. I guess I learned to re read my posts, I wouldn’t want to do that to someone!
Hugs to you….

ParticipantI have always had a weight problem…any weight I lost was quickly found… 😆
It seems to have worsened with Lyme and friends. Probably because I am more sedentary along with all the gunk in me.
LLMD says I am toxic, he added not me personally, which was nice. I have this dream one day all the toxins are going to flush out taking the many unwanted pounds with them…..I take all the supplements the doc recommends…Thanks for posting about it, makes me feel a little less upset about the whole issue 🙁

ParticipantThanks for your responses. I am very careful to flush with extra saline and heparin.
I have a very big puppy, is it possible on one of our jaunts she pulled or jarred it?

ParticipantMy doc’s PA told me to take the saccharomyes probotics. I read the inside pamphlet and it said not to take if you have an intravenous port, which I do for my Rocephin.
So I did not start them as it said I could develop a fungal infection.
Anybody dealt with this and any other solution? So far, yeast has been an on and off problem. It is not fun when it flares up and is a beast to treat. Sometimes it seems my Metagenics ultra flora plus DF doesn’t seem enough. Maybe I just need to take more.

ParticipantI went to the store to buy alcohol pads for my IV and they were out…even Costco didn’t have them.
Then I read about this and figured it out…my box is low-are they back on the shelf now?Barb

ParticipantWhen I was giving myself B12 shots I did them in my belly. Having ample padding, it didn’t usually hurt….but I did get some bruising. Probably user error!
I did not think they helped me much….January 28, 2011 at 8:42 pm #354876Kash
ParticipantSo sorry to hear of your loss.
A couple of months ago I was on Bicillin shots and it temporarily gave me a boost and a month of normalcy. That felt so good to get off the couch and going!
Mepron did mess with me a bit, it did work. Don’t know much about the blood issue, just wanted you to know I am sorry you are grieving.Barb

ParticipantCould it be possible you have thrush on your tongue or also called yeast on your tongue? Just a thought as I have that every few months. I have to keep on with my probotics to try and keep yeast away…sometimes the antibiotics win.
Difucan works for me or Nystatin oral rinse and swallow.
Just my personal experience…
