    Just a random thought…

One of the issues with medicines and supplements is that when swallowed it has to survive the gut and that absorption into the bloodstream is often less than optimal. I am thinking of the supplement curcumin in particular. Is there any benefit into sublingual delivery of minocycline or supplements?

Sublingual delivery of minocycline would be problematic. The reason is that the tetracyclines can cause chemical burns.

Thanks Phil. Has anyone tried sublingual delivery of curcumin?

I have also thought about sublingual drops of Minocycline and I’m working with a compounding pharmacy that has offered this option for me. At the moment though my stomach has calmed down and I am doing well on the tablets. Phil brings up a valid point . I will let you know if I do choose to try this in the future.
