    Does RA cause bursitis? I have it in my hip and leg. Cortisone shot about one month ago has not helped. Constant pain. Any suggestions please. Thanks

    Hi Coco,

    Sorry to hear about your hip pain. Did you have any imaging done? Unfortunately, RA can cause all kinds of soft tissue inflammation and swelling.

    Are your swollen hands any better?

    Hi Maz: the cortisone injection helped to reduce the swelling in my hand and hopefully it doesn’t reoccur. I’m having an X-ray and ultrasound today. I’ll keep you posted. Thank you for your response,
