I’ve been watching some of the Australian Open streamed. Thinking of our Australian friends.

Hi Jan, thank you for your thoughts on Aus. , they are really doing it tough in the southern states andTassy, with the bush fires . It is nice to see some good tennis to take your mind off it, i agree with Richie about the older players though. Keep well all of you . Kind Regards Di.

Nice that you think of the Aussies (and past Aussie tennis greats) while you are watching. The tournament is in Melbourne – it’s been very hot, but not as hot as Sydney which, on Friday, limped under the highest temperature ever recorded….45.8 celsius -or 114.44 farenheit!!!! Must seem strange to those shivering in a Northern winter! Glad to say, it was a one-day only event. Still lots of fires burning though.

    Be well! Lynnie
