This may sound like a stupid question but i need to ask. If one has been on several rotating abx for a few yrs and then has a Igenex test done, is it possible to test positive for these infections even though there are no symptoms? Because we never eliminate lyme , would those tests ever, ever become negative? Also does anyone have the test done again when they are symptom free?

Hi Casey,
Actually some people need to have been on antibiotics to finally get a positive result. I believe their immune systems are so depressed by the disease that it isn't until the antibiotics are given that it starts to react. I'm sure someone will chime in with a more scientific explanation in a bit.
