My name is Debi and I have had Lupus sense 1996.
Started out with Thrombocidapedia a blood disorder and the doctor thought I had Leukemia.
I had bruises that just popped up on my skin for no reason, blood blisters in my mouth, dizziness, and weakness.
The doctors finally found out that what I had was not Leukemia but Lupus.
I had to be on high doses of Steroids for a year and a half and then just on Plaquinil and got stable for years and then in 2004 started having more pain and over the next three years the pain kept getting worse. I did not have any insurance and I finally got to a RA doctor and she told me that I had Mixed Connective Tissue Desease. I had to take Methotrexate for a year and now I have Raynods and also Neuropothy. Just recently I have been told I have Interstitial Lung Disease. This was caused from the Mixed Connective tissue Disease and the Methotrexate I took when the Lupus was attacking my joints.
I am now going to go to an AP doctor and will post progress as I have progress.
